Shooter Producer Director & Editor
After completing a TV & Film bachelor in France, Nicolas crossed the Channel with a Erasmus+ grant scheme to work for Nine Lives Media. Since 2015, Nicolas has acquired more than 30 TV credits, in factual programmes, observational documentaries and current affairs.
He was nominated thirteen times for his filming and editing work, including an International Emmy Award nomination, two BAFTA nominations at the Children's Awards, and four nominations at the Royal Television Society North West Awards. Nicolas won "Best Children's Programme" three consecutive times at the RTS NW 2018, 2019 and 2021, as well as at the Rockie Awards 2018 in Canada.
He shot, produced, directed and edited a full series of 18 short documentaries for the BBC, as well as a documentary series called "I've Been There' for the BBC which sees celebrities opening up to their fans about their past teenage struggles. The pilot featured Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix visiting an anorexia clinic in Sheffield and surprising her fans.
He still occasionally works for Nine Lives on shoots based in France, such as for BBC's Panorama. He's also an editor and a segment producer for Quotidien, France's most successful TV chat show, with an entertaining take on politics, culture and news.
