Development Producer

Michael began his TV career at Nine Lives, joining on work experience before cutting his teeth as a Researcher on programmes as varied as Dispatches, Britain’s Secret Charity Cheats, Age Gap Love and Blood Sugar Brothers. Before re-joining Nine Lives as a Development Producer in 2022, Michael worked in development at different companies in the North of England as an Assistant Producer including True North and BBC Studios. As well as being an additional shooter and editor, Michael works with Cat and Mike to develop programme ideas across a wide range of factual genres, producing taster tapes and crafting the company’s pitch decks.
